What is the Midnight Train?

“What is this Midnight Train everyone sings about?” … asked the French vacationers camping in our central-Austin backyard.  Who would know that, just hours later, we would be standing in the middle of Zilker Park hearing it come blasting out of the speakers during a Gnarls Barkley set at ACL Fest.  A shared moment with some foreign friends-of-friends that I will remember forever.  If you want to hear more about why three French travelers pitched tents in the backyard of the Rosedale house, text me to grab some coffee. 😊

It puts a smile on my face anytime I think about my shared music experiences – from a first concert at Astroworld in Houston featuring New Kids On The Block (that feels odd to type!), to intimate singer-songwriter shows in Austin (aka the “Live Music Capital of the World”) in the middle of the week, to shows that I envision taking Reagan, Owen, and Reese to in the coming years.  Each unique experience creates its own lasting memories and reasons to smile.

That’s how I feel about real estate.  Whether it’s your first home or your fifth, or even the latest addition to a growing real estate portfolio, the experience of buying and selling homes is exhilarating. However, there’s a rhythm to it that can seem disorienting if you aren’t familiar with it, like a new band with an eclectic sound.  In my role as your personal guide, I promise that you’ll have the VIP experience of a lifetime, build lasting memories, and achieve your goals for yourself, and those you care about.

As this month’s Item of Value, I am giving you the chance to win a pair of 3-day weekend passes to ACL Music Festival this fall.  Whether it’s your first concert or you’re a raving fan, ACL will ignite your senses and allow you to celebrate (along with nearly 450,000 of your closest friends) what makes our city legendary.  Register at www.HindsiteAustin.com (or click here) and you can take the “Midnight Train” to the sights and sounds of this iconic Austin music tradition.

It’s a good life!
