Twelve years ago I rode the Shoal Creek Bike Loop for the first time and I fell in love. The Allandale neighborhood became my dream neighborhood to live in with old houses and streets that could tell a thousand stories over the years. When we bought our home in Allandale two years ago, you can imagine how excited I was to finally move into my own house in the neighborhood. I made it. I dreamed of living here and raising my family here, and it’s all I imagined and more.
Accomplishing that dream truly was wonderful, but what’s funny is that I was equally excited about the possibilities of decluttering and purging in preparation for our South of the river to North of the river move. It's amazing what a family of four with two pups accumulates with time. What perfect timing too as our move coincided with the traditional Spring Cleaning season.
To me the move felt like a fresh clean start. We had more space and less clutter... a WIN WIN!
Flash forward two years and now we are a family of five with two pups. I am finding myself in need of another decluttering session. Now that Quentin is one year old, I am reminded of all the "stuff" that comes with babies. It is, once again, time to declutter and purge... Sigh.
I have learned that real life means that cleaning and organization is an ongoing work in progress... like laundry, you are never done, and sometimes you need help. I bet that many of you feel similarly and are somewhere along your journey of organization and decluttering.
Have you ever wanted some help in getting organized around your home? You are in luck!
